Co-Curricular Activities
The college has a Student Union, which has different subcommittees. Various cultural programmes, field trips, sports, community-oriented programmes etc are conducted under the union activities.
The college has a unique feature of providing opportunity for the student teachers to exhibit their hidden talents in games & cultural activities throughout the course. One period per week is separately allotted for both cultural programme and sports activities.
The I G N O U B.Ed Programme study center has been allotted to the college from 2005. It is a distance mode of learning and is beneficial for the inservice teachers who have secured the job without professional qualifications. Eligibility for B.Ed (IGNOU) is minimum 2 years in teaching profession and 50% aggregate in their degree.
